The Papendorp business park is an urban village surrounded by gently rolling grassland. A ‘green movement’ is now flowing through the building of hard, black bricks where Life Office is located. Plants, a tree trunk reaching from the ground floor to the first floor, a ‘meeting box’ structure extending out from the facade on the first floor. All of which create a clear connection between ‘inside’ and ‘outside’. The landscape is stepping in and the office is reaching out. A building that was abandoned for ten years is now flourishing – literally and figuratively – as it never has before.
