Ditt Officemakers created a dynamic working environment in Amsterdam Sloterdijk for a global independent fund administrator. The design supports different ways of working and strikes a clear balance between focus, collaboration and social interaction.
Project Case
Ditt Officemakers developed an office environment for a Global Independent Fund Administrator that is tailored to a dynamic way of working. The main layout of the office had already been decided, so the design challenge lay in the spaces in between. By separating breakout areas from the main workspace, informal spaces were created for discussion, concentration and spontaneous encounters, whilst the workspace itself exudes a sense of calm and focus in line with the principles of activity-based working.
The contrast between the quiet work areas and the vibrant communal spaces gives the interior its own distinct identity. A distinctive tiled floor marks the social hub of the office and adds character to the space. In addition, more than seventy existing plants were reused, contributing to a green and sustainable interior. The interior design and choice of furniture were developed in close collaboration with the international project team and the furniture specialist, resulting in a working environment that is perfectly suited to the users’ day-to-day work.
