For Gebo Tours, we created a new working environment centred on orientation, connection and interaction. Using a clear spatial layout, we combined two storeys into a single sustainable and future-proof office environment.

Project Case
Walking into Gebo Tours feels like the start of a journey. For this specialist in group and day trips, we developed a working environment in which movement and orientation form the basis of the design. A long corridor runs the full length of both floors and connects all the rooms. Just like on a bus journey, you keep arriving at different destinations along the way: workspaces, meeting rooms and support functions are like stops along the same route. By integrating the design and construction phases, a well-organised and future-proof working environment was created that showcases Gebo Tours’ identity.
The central route is enhanced by continuous lines of light and carefully placed splashes of colour that provide direction and bring rhythm to the floor plan. Beneath the existing skylight, we positioned the organisation’s social hub; a place where daylight, social interaction and collaboration come together naturally. A new staircase connects the two floors both physically and visually, whilst bespoke furniture has been seamlessly integrated into the design. For the finish, we chose hard-wearing materials that can withstand intensive use and help ensure the working environment has a long service life.

"Alpha FX has a new office on the Egelantiersgracht in Amsterdam, where an old garage has been transformed into a new 'clubhouse.' The office's look is entirely in line with the London office, implying that work and fun complement each other and are both taken seriously. In other words: 'work hard, play hard."
